Procedures

All requests to borrow a Rutgers Exhibit Kit must be received at least five business days prior to the date needed. Exhibit kit materials are only available for faculty and staff. Students are not eligible to reserve the kit. Follow the steps below to submit your request.

Step 1 – Select the Materials for Your Event

Use the gallery as a guide to select the materials, sizes, and quantities you would like to borrow.

Step 2 – Complete the Request Form

Complete and submit the online request form at least five business days prior to the date needed. Material quantities are limited and will be made available on a first-come basis.

You will see a confirmation after your request has been submitted. After your request has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirming the availability of materials. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours, please call Marcie Aboff at 848-932-0579 to confirm.

Step 3 – Review the Proper Usage and Handling Guidelines

It is your responsibility to review the guidelines and return materials in the same condition they were received.

Step 4 – Material Pickup and Return

Materials are to be picked up and returned Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. If this is the first time you are borrowing these materials, allow 15 minutes for a demonstration on proper use and handling.

Schedule the return of the materials with the appropriate coordinator so that they can be inspected. Items will be deemed lost or stolen if not returned within five business days of the due date and will be replaced at your unit's expense.
